Goal: Provide preventive healthcare, as well as, access to timely and affordable
care for anyone experiencing injury, illness or disability.
Definition/ Focus: Provide services to individuals that
“fall through the cracks”;
Address the critical health needs of our community; Aim where we get the
biggest bang for the buck
Major barriers: Lack of awareness; Apathy surrounding health needs of our community; High cost of healthcare (ie Prescription drugs)
Hope/Vision: Working together we can make healthcare accessible for everyone in Kershaw County.
