All donors who give $200 or more and complete a Lugoff Automotive Group Vehicle Giveaway entry form will be eligible to win. One finalist per week will be selected at random during the Fall Campaign.

Automotive Group Vehicle Giveaway Regulations

Who is eligible?

Any U.S. resident who is 18 years or older and makes a contribution of $200 or more to United Way of Kershaw County’s annual fundraising campaign. Completed entry forms must be given to the company’s Employee Campaign Coordinator who will forward them to United Way of Kershaw County at the conclusion of the workplace campaign or submit an entry form along with a donation. Each entry form must be sent with its corresponding pledge form to the offices of United Way of Kershaw County (110 East Dekalb St. Camden, SC 29020). The drawing is limited to one entry per person. United Way of Kershaw County reserves the right to determine the validity of the entries.

Who is NOT eligible?

United Way of Kershaw County staff, board members, their immediate families, employees of any entity owned by or affiliated with the Lugoff Automotive Group, and their immediate family members, and employees of the independent accounting firm that verifies and supervises the entries and drawing.

How does the drawing work?

Each week for 12 weeks, during the fall campaign, a finalist entry form will be drawn from among the total eligible entries. Each of the finalists will be notified that he or she has qualified for the final drawing and will be invited to participate in the giveaway event where a single winner will win a voucher worth $20,000 that can be applied to any vehicle (new or used) at any dealership in the Lugoff Automative Group family. All finalists must be present at the giveaway event which will be held at Lugoff Ford to receive a key and qualify for the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner is responsible for all insurance, title and registration fees and taxes and assumes all liability in winning and taking possession of the selected vehicle. All participants agree to release and indemnify the Lugoff Automotive Group and any entity affiliated with Lugoff Automotive Group, including its owners, employees, agents, and/or assigns, for any and all claims related in any way to this promotion and giveaway.

What will happen at the vehicle giveaway event?

Each of the finalists must attend the final event held at Lugoff Ford (time and place to be announced.) Each finalist will select a single key from a group of keys; one of these keys will start a designated vehicle. The finalist whose key starts that vehicle will win the $20,000 voucher. The winner may apply the voucher to any vehicle offered by Lugoff Automotive Group, and any costs over $20,000 will be the responsibility of the winner. In the event the winner does not use all of the voucher, no refunds or cash or will be given.

Requirements for the winner: The winner is responsible for any/all state and federal income taxes, sales and/or property taxes, insurance, tag, title and registration fees relating to the transaction. Prior to taking possession of the vehicle, the winner must present a valid driver’s license and valid proof of auto insurance to Lugoff Automotive Group. The winner will also need to pay tax, tag and any fees before taking delivery of the vehicle. Terms of this contest are subject to change at any time. All finalists grant the United Way of Kershaw County and Lugoff Automotive Group, including any of its affiliates or assigns, the use of his/her name, likeness, and photograph(s) in all communication, marketing, and publicity materials.
