mobile nutrition
Since 2017, the Mobile Nutrition Center (MNC) has been bringing healthy food directly to families across Kershaw County. Designed as a mobile food pantry, the MNC was created to eliminate the barriers—such as transportation and income—that often prevent people from accessing nutritious food.
By partnering with local farms, grocery stores, and community organizations, the MNC delivers a wide variety of foods, including:
Fresh vegetables and fruits
Meats and proteins
Whole grains like pastas and rice
Baked goods and other essentials
The impact has been remarkable. To date, the MNC has:
Distributed more than 400,000 pounds of food
Fed over 60,000 Kershaw County residents
Served communities through 10 Distribution Sites and 4 Fixed Pantry Sites
The MNC isn’t just about delivering food—it’s about delivering hope, dignity, and health. Every stop we make helps families stretch their budgets, put wholesome meals on the table, and move one step closer to food security.
Together with our community partners, we’re building a healthier, stronger Kershaw County—one meal at a time.
