This #TriumphantTuesday we are so proud of Girl Scout Troop 1925, a first-year junior troop made up of three 4th graders named Asa, Addison, and Allyssa. Under the leadership of Cristal Orr and Carrie Tutt these Girl Scouts decided to create The Little Food Pantry.
The girls worked very hard and dedicated The Little Food Pantry to the citizens of Kershaw County Monday afternoon stating “We thought about all the people who are hungry and came up with the Little Food Pantry. We wanted people to no longer be hungry. We designed it, built it, painted it, and stocked it.”
Girl Scout Troop 1925 looks forward to developing more of these Little Food Pantries in the future so that they can help as many people as possible.
The Little Food Pantry is such a wonderful triumph for the Girl Scouts and our community.
