Today we celebrated the opening of our Mobile Nutrition Center’s fifth food distribution site located at Belmont Baptist Church in Westville, South Carolina! The Mobile Nutrition Center is a United Way of Kershaw County program that delivers healthy, nutritious foods to areas in the county known as food deserts. Each month the Mobile Nutrition Center delivers food to Cassatt, Elgin, Mount Pisgah, Knights Hill, and as of today Westville.
We are so excited to have finally opened a fifth food distribution site, this program would never have existed or been able to grow without the help of all of our partners throughout the community.
We believe that everyone should have access to healthy nourishing foods and because of YOU it is now a reality for the residents of Kershaw County.
